We all know that the big question is whether the oil spill is affecting our local shoreline. The answer is NO and the fishing is great! We are catching tarpon and plenty of snook. We will keep you up todate on any oil news.

Naples Area Waters and Fish SpeciesOur area has some of the best SW Florida fishing for Tarpon, Snook and Redfish, as well as Sea Trout, Tripletail and Jack Crevalle. Tarpon are found in the largest numbers between March and June, in the shallow bays and flats. Also known as the "Silver King", Tarpon give an unbelievable fight when hooked.
Snook are a great catch all year round in our waters and are one of the most sought-after game fish in Florida. Our many mangrove shorelines are the perfect habitat for Snook and our backcountry guides know just where to find them. September and October are Redfish months, although they are available all year in smaller numbers. Found mostly in the shallow grass flats, oyster bars and along the mangrove shorelines, Redfish are great fun to catch and make an excellent dinner as well, however we do promote catch and release. We hope you will join us for a great fishing experience! |
